All components of a building – the roof, walls, and below-grade waterproofing systems - are vulnerable to moisture intrusion. One of the more complicated types of “leaks” are the ones that occur below-grade or within a system with heavy and complicated overburden. Leaks are not always obvious; they can often originate from an unlikely or overlooked source.
The scope is to be involved with moisture intrusion analysis not just at the roof level, but the entire building envelope – including below-grade waterproofing systems.
Our technical specialists should utilize a number of techniques and protocols to locate and determine moisture intrusion sources, depending on each individual case.
We should have a full inventory of moisture meters, infrared cameras, probe cameras, and other specialty tools that assist in determining the cause and source of a leak.
Our field work is to generate comprehensive reports. All moisture intrusion surveys are to be thoroughly documented with a detailed report that identifies the issue and provides recommendations (and options) on how to correct the found deficiency
THERMAL IMAGING
THERMAL IMAGING is a high performance infrared inspection system specially developed for building applications including automatic humidity and insulation defects alarm. With its state of the art technology, Thermal Imaging map the moisture traces or energy loss from a building to later produce sharp detailed images.
Its unique ergonomic design makes it convenient to work with during inspections.
Infrared (IR) inspection is a powerful and non invasive means of monitoring and diagnosing the condition of buildings. An IR camera can identify problems early, allowing them to be documented and corrected before becoming more serious and more costly to repair.
